???? Days 11–15 Reflection

Guiding Children Through the Middle of Ramadan

The excitement of the first days of Ramadan may start to slow down.

Children may feel the tiredness.
They may ask more questions.
They may struggle a little more with fasting.

And this is where our role as parents becomes even more important.

The middle of Ramadan is not about pushing children harder.
It is about helping them stay connected to the purpose.

This is the time to remind them gently:

Why we fast.
Why patience matters.
Why Allah rewards even the smallest effort.

Sit with them at iftar.
Listen to their experiences of the day.
Celebrate their attempts, even if they only tried for a few hours.

Ramadan is not about raising children who fast perfectly.

It is about raising children who understand, love, and grow with Ramadan.

And sometimes, what they remember most is not the hunger —
but the warmth, encouragement, and guidance they felt along the way.
